A.J. Preschool has been dedicated to children and childcare since 1953 and is one of only a few preschools in North America to receive the prestigious United Synagogue Solomon Schechter Award for excellence in early childhood education.
The standards we maintain include, but aren't limited to:
- Our program is licensed by the Kentucky Cabinet for Human Resources and is evaluated annually by Division of Regulated Child Care.
- Our student-teacher ratios are lower than the state minimum requirements.
- All of our staff receives first aid and CPR training annually.
- Every teacher participates in 12 hours of continuing education relevant to early childhood every year.
