Adath Jeshurun Preschool is committed to making your child's first experience away from home as smooth and natural as possible. We strive to offer programming where babies can thrive. Each day your child will learn by exploring and discovering with nurturing teachers.

A typical day in our nursery will include many multi-sensory activities. When your child arrives in the morning s/he will have play time. This child-directed time will include playing with blocks, balls, puzzles, and more. Our infant play space is filled with toys and books that help your baby develop at his/her own pace. Activities led by teachers will include singing, talking, holding, reading, and playing. Finger plays, peek-a-boo, and other games will be played with your child to encourage language acquisition. We will introduce new vocabulary and beginning self-help skills. Our teachers will offer just the right amount of guidance to help transition your infant into a toddler.

We will work with you to develop your baby's routine. Our Infants Program will be your baby's home away from home. We will learn the individual needs of your child including naptimes, playtimes, diapering needs, and feeding times.

Adath Jeshurun Preschool's Infants Program program is committed to meeting the developmental needs of the whole child - intellectual, emotional, spiritual, creative, and physical. In doing so we will provide activities to engage, challenge and stimulate cognition, fine and gross motor skills, language development, and social-emotional competency.
