Our teachers are well-trained professionals in the area of early childhood education and have many years of experience working with young children. We have a remarkably low turn-over rate and are proud of it!

In addition, they have participated in many hours of in-service training which teach the most up to date techniques with regard to child development as well as CPR and First Aid. Many teachers have completed coursework from major universities and institutions.

The staff focuses their carefully planned curriculum on every area of the child’s development. They emphasize activities toward individual, social, emotional, physical, cognitive, linguistic and intellectual growth. From beginning problem-solving, reasoning and critical thinking to the nurturing of creativity, sharing and individuality, the staff at Adath Jeshurun Preschool allows each child to develop at his or her own pace. Developmentally appropriate activities are planned to teach letter recognition and beginning reading and writing skills. Activities are designed to engage, challenge, and stimulate our children — and produce smiles and laughter!
